Akira was born into a rich family, with very protective parents. This is due to the fact that she was the only child in the family.
However, she did not get to enjoy the family love, because her parents were usually out working until late into the night.
As such, she was closer to her maid than with her parents.
She confided in her maid, and tell her all her secrets and interesting little things that happened to her.
She went to Okino Higashi Elementary School, and because of her status, she did not have a lot of friends.
She had chauffeurs driving her to and from school, so she did not have time outside of school to mix with friends.
Therefore, she wanted to get out of her school fast and graduate, so she can go to a neighbourhood school.
She was admitted to Nakajima Junior High School, against the wishes of her parents.
She kept her rich profile from her friends, and she was able to enjoy herself much more.
She was able to have something she did not really have in elementary school, which were real friends.
She had friends in elementary school, but she suspected it was more because she was rich.
Upon her graduation from Nakajima, she went to Osaka Girls' Senior High.
Again, she was active in school events, and took a real liking to singing.
On the advice of close friends, she formed a band named 'Jamikiyo'.
She was the lead singer of the band, with 2 guitarists, a keyboardist and a drummer.
It was during one of the school events in her last year of school that she met Suki...
After the chance meeting, they met again during a sports class. Akira thanked her again for her help, and they struck it off.
They became really close friends, due to their unique characters, and their reasonably unhappy childhood.
Even more interesting is the fact that their birth dates are only a day apart.
They went out shopping together, dyed their hair together, even double-dated together.

Suki was born into a family of 4. Her family lived in a little corner of Osaka, a three-room apartment in a rather run-down building.
Despite the modest conditions, they were very happy together; her family were very doting on her.
Especially her otou-san, who would buy presents for her on occasions and play with her everyday.
Her onii-san and onee-san are always at loggerheads, quarreling about little things like who gets to play with the toys they have,
or who gets to sit next to okaa-san.
Suki looked forward to elementary school very much, because she thought that she would be able to meet new friends.
However,it was not as enjoyable as she expected it to be. Even though everything was new, her introverted nature meant classmates teased her a lot.
She was picked on in class, having things taken from her, and her hair pulled by boys.
However, she was able to know a good friend, Hiroshi, who stopped the bullying to a large extent.
She managed to pull through elementary school, and was admitted to Nanyo Junior High.
During her times at Nanyo, she took a liking to baking, after attending Home Economics lessons in her class.
She was really passionate about baking pastries, and dreamed of having her pastries consumed all over the world, for them to enjoy.
She took part in several baking competitions, and was placed first in two of the school events she participated in.
Her good results in Nanyo enabled her to go to Osaka Girls' Senior High, on her parents' encouragement.
She enrolled into a cooking course there, therefore she was overjoyed.
In her 2nd year, while participating in a school event, she met Akira...
